Matt DeChant named to Cybersecurity  
Advisory Committee

Chicago, IL, October 19th, 2023 –   Matt DeChant, CEO of Security Counsel, has once again been named to the National Advisory Committee at the Center for Cybersecurity within DeVry University.  

​

DeVry’s National Advisory Committee provides a much-needed forum for DeVry faculty and administrators to collaborate with industry experts in reviewing the program portfolio. The committee is then able to give guidance and recommendations based on real-life input from industry. DeVry University’s Center for Cybersecurity’s mission is to “prepare learners to thrive in cyber security careers by offering comprehensive and innovative programs supported by relevant partnerships and exceptional care.” The connection with practicing professionals is critical for achieving this mission.

This year’s appointment marks the fourth consecutive year that Matt has supported higher education through serving on the National Advisory Committee.
